Spaceport America Motorcycle Adventure

Inspired by the SpaceX launch, Güber and I hopped on the Triumph (we need help naming her!) to check out Spaceport America and ended up enjoying a Rio Grande Adventure too! Come along as we embark on another motorcycle adventure together to Spaceport America, checking out the Jornada del Muerto (or the Trail of Death) and the NM Ghost Town, Engle, before taking a dip in the Rio Grande! We are reminded just how amazing this part of Southern New Mexico is!

Not only do we experience some more awesome motorcycle riding but we are able to see a Virgin Galactic Spaceship too! Of course it was SO hot we couldn’t resist jumping in the Rio Grande as we zoomed by… We almost had too much fun though because I was so worn out by the end that we almost didn’t make it home!

SOME THINGS YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS IN THIS VIDEO:

Even though we can’t go in and tour the Spaceport, we are still able to see one of Virgin Galactic’s Spaceships… which is really cool! Would you like to go to space?

We are on the Jornada del Muerto (notice I start to say it and realize I’m going to butcher the pronunciation) or Trail of Death… it is humbling to imagine how hard it was to cross such treacherous terrain back in the day…

We go through Engle another New Mexico Ghost Town! Elephant Butte Lake is SO beautiful….it is a must see! The river too… (Video of a lake visit and river float coming soon!)

One of the “tricks” I use to keep going

When I’ve run out of steam and need to gather more, (which happens SO much and so quickly now) is to dance… this ‘trick’ is one I have used my entire adult life and has now proven to be a literal lifesaver… (I love when we see the true purpose of things!) I had a request (from someone who knows about this trick 🙂 to show the source deriving, energy gathering, life giving, completely connected Sacred Dance that comes to my rescue time and again and makes this all possible… soooo yea, there is #ConnecteDance in this video too because it definitely came to my rescue… again!

I feel like this has been a brutal time for almost the entire country and I have definitely struggled with everything, especially the realization that physical contact with people, and everything that goes along with it won’t be possible for the for-see-able future…

and possibly forever. Even though Güber is the best service dog ever, having ALS complicated by reactivated tick borne and EBV infections makes the future look, isolated… to say the least. Ugh.

Sometimes getting down just sneaks up on me and this video was a reminder of how filming this Vlog and getting out is a great depression cure for me and is quickly becoming a passion… thank you so much for taking the time to watch!
