For friends and family that are wanting to rush into re-opening, that are refusing to wear a mask, that are feeling like your rights and freedoms are being so incredibly violated, this is for you. I am so sorry this is happening and would love things to be normal again. It is heartbreaking to see so many of the people I care about hurting so very much. Truthfully, I’m pissed that it is being so mishandled by EVERYONE in power. First of all this is not political. UPDATE- April 21, 2020 – After The Vote Sierra County New Mexico still has ZERO Covid-19 cases, is home to Truth or Consequences and the NM State Veteran’s Home which is the only Nursing Home for Veteran’s in the State. The three, all Republican, County Commissioners just voted unanimously in support of the plan to immediately Re-Open Non-Essential businesses.
